Its that time of year when the finest physical and mental specimens of Area 8 Round Table gather to compete to be crowned champions. Two titles were at stake. That of Area 8 Ten Pin Bowling champions and that of Area 8 Quiz winners.

Could this be the smartest man in Area 8?	Did Area 8 Chairman Peter manage to finish that gobstopper?

Who was the only person to score a big fat zero?!	What injuries did Gaz "Fall Guy" incure at this Area 8 Sports event?

As battle commenced it became apparent that one Table in particular have practised a little more than the rest of us. As the chaps from Leigh Round Table finished the first round of bowls we were all still only halfway through the game! Needless to say Leigh stormed through to victory in the bowling. Congratulations to Leigh Round Table on becoming the Area 8 Ten Pin Bowling Champions.

The Area 8 Quiz was won by St Helens Round Table. Well done St Helens. You are the clever clogs of Area 8!
