HRH The Duke of Edinburgh helps celebrate 80th birthday of Round Table

The 80 years of Round Table has been given the royal seal of approval by the organisation’s Patron HRH The Duke of Edinburgh who was guest of honour at a celebratory national and international lunch on March 24th in Solihull.

Its that time of year when the finest physical and mental specimens of Area 8 Round Table gather to compete to be crowned champions. Two titles were at stake. That of Area 8 Ten Pin Bowling champions and that of Area 8 Quiz winners.

Past Area 8 Chairmans Dinner was held on 24th February at Woolton golf club. The evening was organised by Nic Corke in true white rabbit style with invites being sent out numerous times.
